“These songs are the first I’ve released in 1 year. It’s the accumulated efforts of a year spent in distress, wonder, uncertainty, anger, and above all else, a year spent in mourning.
The selections within this project mark a turning point within me… One that is clearly evident in my mind—the pursuit of what I love and nothing less.
This realization has grown to represent a process of artistic recovery translated through music… It’s all I know and all I can give to the one that means more to me now than I knew before her passing.
I await her approval.”

This is a strong, focused, resilient young man, whom I admire. His mother was a multi-talented young woman, who slipped away too early. He kept the household running, making sure his sister stayed on-task and she is now a MLK alumni ~ Class of 2015, she was a drum major in MLK band and will be attending college on a scholarship.
