Michael Jackson: The Footage You Were Never Meant To See...

The interview that ruined Michael Jackson

"Over his 18-year career, Bashir, a British journalist, had interviewed numerous high-profile celebrities, including Princess Diana. He spent five years trying to score an interview with Michael Jackson.
“Michael adored Princess Diana ... and when Bashir knocked on my door to ask me to introduce Michael to him, he showed me a crumpled letter he carried in his wallet — a thank-you letter from Princess Diana,” says Michael’s friend Uri Geller, who introduced MJ to Bashir and calls it “my devastating mistake”,
Michael granted approval to Bashir, who at the time was working for ITV, the UK’s biggest network, to visit him at Neverland, as well as at his posh suite in Las Vegas."

The United States of America

Britain's American colonies broke with the mother country in 1776 and were recognized as the new nation of the United States of America following the Treaty of Paris in 1783. During the 19th and 20th centuries, 37 new states were added to the original 13 as the nation expanded across the North American continent and acquired a number of overseas possessions. The two most traumatic experiences in the nation's history were the Civil War (1861-65), in which a northern Union of states defeated a secessionist Confederacy of 11 southern slave states, and the Great Depression of the 1930s, an economic downturn during which about a quarter of the labor force lost its jobs. Buoyed by victories in World Wars I and II and the end of the Cold War in 1991, the US remains the world's most powerful nation state. Since the end of World War II, the economy has achieved relatively steady growth, low unemployment and inflation, and rapid advances in technology.

Today my future daughter-n-law took a couple of photos and there is a funny video to be shared with family and friends exclusively at socials this #Kwanzaa week.

Picture
This is the test photo for our funny video, I thanked President Obama for a classy 8-year Administration and high-fived Bobble Head Obama; my DAV Representative gifted me Obama, it was one of her going away gifts when she was leaving Hawaii to return to Georgia-USA.  I was looking at the clouds that was covering the clouds.

At the end of the video, I fed community cats (their treats are in the cup-holder of my camping chair); then broke down set to go back inside.  Today's high was 75 degrees Celsius; partly cloudy; wind practically 0 ... humidity 62%.

Seventy-five degrees Celcius in Greater Decatur, GA .... Say what???? ... for those who are having a #White_Christmas and those who are snowed under.

Yesterday, I shared a link to an article I published over five years ago; the recipient was shocked for where they landed when JazJets and JazCyfe' links were visited.
I visited the link and am not pleased; started to delete my account on the site for I abandoned publishing there over four years ago.  I decided to publish disclaimer instead and will no longer publish on any site besides this one and my current networking community.

I will not share the name of the article nor the site where it is published; however, if stumbled upon
note: those  links are not the links I originally attached nor am I affiliated with either of the redirected sites.

My personal lesson ~ BEWARE of "start-up" publishing sites.

Doris Payne ~ #jewel_thief

Hailey Branson-PottsContact Reporter
Doris Payne, a notorious octogenarian jewel thief with a
long rap sheet in Southern California, has been arrested yet again on larceny charges in an Atlanta suburb.
Payne, 86, was arrested Tuesday for trying to steal a $2,000 diamond necklace from a Von Maur department store in the Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, Ga., the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Payne allegedly slipped the necklace into her back pocket and tried to leave the store, Dunwoody police told the newspaper.
Payne’s decades of theft were chronicled in a 2013 documentary called “The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne.” The Jewelers’ Security Alliance, an industry trade group, sent out bulletins as early as the 1970s warning about her, according to the Associated Press.
In November 2013, she swiped a $22,500 diamond-and-white-gold ring from El Paseo Jewelers in Palm Desert. She pleaded guilty to one felony count each of burglary and grand theft and was sentenced to four years in custody — two in county jail, two under mandatory supervision.
