I like reading published articles better than watching news on TV and watching other media hosts in regards to controversial issues of the day ... to be more objective in what I read over listening to the presentation of biased presenters.
That is what I miss about the news anchors of the past. They just did their presentations without injecting personal attitudes. I understand media personalities are human, too; however, some are irresponsible in the manner of expressing 'sensitive subject matter' ... i.e., Wendy Williams Trashed for Jesse Williams Comments: ‘The Older Version of Stacy Dash’ Realizing Wendy is not a news journalist, she still influences those who are still watching her show.
I was disappointed in Wendy's choice of words, in the shared news link. It is fine to have an opinion; however, injecting #mess to appease one ethnicity over another does nothing to diminish the issues regarding #BlackLivesMatter.
I remember Hosea Williams, stating on his show; "When he participated in the #Civil Rights Movement, he really thought it would get better when people of color held positions of influence. He said, "Damn if it did not get worst"
I grew up in a community that was segregated and thriving. When integration arrived to the community, it did get worst and it was NOT "Mr. Charley" making it worst. Residuals of broken unity, among people of color after the Civil Rights Movement, is still ongoing to this very day. in people over 50 years old.
In people of color, under 40 years of age, I ADMIRE YOUR STRUGGLE to break away from 'traditions that does not work for your future'
